Peru-licious.

This summer has really gotten out of control... the good kind. Ok, let's talk about Lima, Peru. Honestly, let's just say fashion wasn't their strongest asset. Funny because, there were a ton of smoke shops, but not a single person smoked, except for the 2 chicks that I came across.

I already said it before, and I'm going to say it again... I'm a creeper. Yep. You read that correctly. I'm a total creeper. This lady ended up talking to my family. We were standing in front of Cafe Beirut for a good 10 minutes, trying to decide if the food would be as good as a true Lebanese dish.

So it was the second of third day, while everyone was getting ready for the engagement party, I just decided to step outside the hotel by myself and take a walk around the neighborhood. Boy was I glad that I did. I came across an awesome record store called Revisar. It had so many popular old school rock bands from White Snake to AC/DC to Led Zeppelin. Of course, they had CDs too... but I was more interested in the records. Stupid me didn't take a picture because I was way too sucked into the store atmosohere. No wall space was blank. There were posters everywhere. And to top it off, there was a tiny upstairs. I really should have taken a picture of the upstairs, except one of the guys working came up to tailgate me. It was a collection of every kind of ACTION FIGURE filled amongst the shelves. Holy Grail. No joke. and on the middle of the floor were just piles of movie posters. HEAVEN. Everytime I walked passed that store, I felt at peace. But here's a cool pair of houses that I found.

and well... we can't forget about quite possibly the best coffee/cafe shop that I've seen. Maybe there's a bunch here, but I've yet to find them. This one, same dealio, I was too into the scene to even think about taking pictures. It was so modern and... h i p. yeah. hip. It was called Cafe La Maquina (Lima, Peru). I snatched some photos from goOogle. halleluiah!

OKAY, last ones... these were just two of my favorite scenic shots from the trip. I could use these for some inspiration for some new pin designs, eh?

photos: me (except cafe ka maquina)

ok well, hasta luego muchachos!
